On 20–21 February 2026, eighteen III Year Mechanical Engineering students and one faculty member participated in the ANRF-sponsored Two-Day National Workshop on “Hydrogen Engines: Driving the Future of Clean Mobility,” organized by the School of Mechanical Engineering at VIT, Vellore.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, in association with the IEI Students’ Chapter and IIC–CAHCET, organized an Alumni Expert Talk on “Industry Reality: Skills That Get You Hired” on 18 February 2026.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering successfully organized the “Mini Project Expo ” on 13.02.2026. Sixteen batches participated in the expo, presenting their projects with creativity, innovation, and technical excellence.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), conducted an E-Quiz on 06.02.2026 to commemorate National Energy Conservation Day.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a Two-Day Add-On Course on “Advances in 3D Printing Technology” on 30th and 31st January 2026. The program provided insights into recent advancements and applications of 3D printing technologies.

A Placement Drive was conducted on 30th January 2026 by Chamundi Die Cast Pvt. Ltd., Ranipet District, for the students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
