The Department of Civil Engineering Proudly Organized an Engineers day Celebration on 15th September 2025, Commemorating the birth anniversary of the legendary engineer Sir M. Visvesvaraya. As part of the celebration an innovative guest lecture was conducted.
The civil engineering students visited the poondi lake water treatment plant on 10.09.2025 as part of their academic curriculum. The visit was organized to provide students with practical exposure to large water treatment processes and infrastructure. A guest lecture on “Career Opportunities and Skill Development for Future Civil Engineers” was conducted on 8th August 2025 to provide students with valuable insights into the evolving civil engineering industry. The session featured three esteemed resource persons: Mrs. Ramya, CEO; Mr. Dinesh, Project Manager; and Mr. Raghu Ramasamy, CEO of Micro Factory, Vellore.
The Civil Engineering department is organized a four – day Add on Course on Total station training from 11th to 14th August 2025. This hands on training program is designed to enhance Students practical skills in advanced surveying techniques using Total station Equipment and GPS Navigation Surveying.
