The Department of Civil Engineering, C. Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering and Technology, organized a Personality Development Programme on 07.08.2026 for the benefit of the students. The programme was organized with the objective of enhancing the students’ personality, communication skills, confidence, leadership qualities, professional attitude and employability skills.
The programme was graced by Mr. N. Pradeep, Managing Director of De Novo Software Solutions and Nanda Construction and Interior Design, as the Chief Guest and Resource Person. His presence and professional experience provided valuable insights to the students regarding the skills and attitudes required for success in both academic and professional life.
During the programme, the Chief Guest addressed the students on various aspects of personality development and career growth. He emphasized the importance of effective communication, self-confidence, positive thinking, time management, leadership, teamwork and problem-solving skills. He also highlighted the need for students to develop a professional attitude and continuously upgrade their technical and interpersonal skills to meet the expectations of the construction and corporate sectors.
The interaction with the students was highly informative and engaging. Students actively participated in the programme and interacted with the resource person by asking questions related to career opportunities, professional development, entrepreneurship and industry expectations. The session motivated the students to identify their strengths, overcome weaknesses and develop a positive approach towards their future careers.
The programme successfully created awareness among the students about the importance of personality development in addition to technical knowledge. It provided them with practical guidance on improving their confidence, communication and professional behaviour.
