The session aimed to enhance students understanding of the practical applications of calculus in various fields of engineering and technology. The programme began with the Qirath by Mr. H. Mohammed Ismail from the IT Department, followed by a Tamil devotional song rendered by Ms. Shanthini and Team from CSE, creating a serene start to the event. The Welcome Address was delivered by Ms. Sherin Taj Z of AI & DS, who warmly greeted the gathering and highlighted the importance of connecting mathematical concepts to real-world engineering problems. A Special Address was given by Dr. B. V. Senthil Kumar, Head of the Department of Science and Humanities, who encouraged students to apply mathematical knowledge in solving real-world engineering problems. He highlighted how such academic events foster deeper learning and bridge the gap between theory and practice. The Principal, Dr. M. Sasikumar, delivered the Inaugural Address, appreciating the Department for organizing the event and emphasizing the significance of mathematics, especially calculus, as a foundation for engineering studies. Mrs. P. Anjali, Assistant Professor, Department of Science and Humanities, introduced the Chief Guest, Dr. K. Karthika, Assistant Professor(Sr), Department of Mathematics, Advanced school of Technology , VIT, Vellore. Outlining her academic accomplishments and contributions.
