A Guest Lecture was organized by the Dept. of English on “Enhancing Listening and Speaking Skill” on 9th April, 2019 at our institution. Mrs. P. BINDHU, Assistant Professor, Department of English, Sankara University, Kanchipuram was the Resource Person.
She discussed the topic of listening through fun filled activities to develop the students’ confidence level. The students were made to know the importance of communication skills for all types of professions. It also helped the students to build a positive attitude and motivated them to achieve success in life.
It was an enlightening experience and aimed at developing the listening and speaking skills of the students instead of merely providing the theoretical knowledge. Moreover, the lecture was interactive and informative.
