It is proposed to conduct an IQAC meeting on 25.03.2019 at 03.30 p.m. at Placement and Training Cell. All the members of the IQAC are requested to attend the meeting.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

Agenda of the Meeting:

  1. Admission policies to increase the admission to a minimum of 75% of the total intake.
  2. College academic calendar with schedule of activities and celebrations.
  3. Targets to the departments such as overall pass percentage, research funding, journal publications, patent filing, publication of books,  placements, accreditations to be achieved, meeting with stake holders such as faculties, non-teaching staff members, students, parents, alumni and industry people.
  4. Co-curricular (Faculty Development Programmes, Conferences, Workshops, Seminars, Symposia, Professional Society Activities, Guest Lectures, Personality Development Programmes, Career Guidance Programmes, Add-on Courses, Project Expos, Paper Presentations, etc.) and extra-curricular activities (Sports and National Service Scheme) activities to be conducted in each department.
  5. Modern methods of teaching and learning tools (Models, Prototypes, NPTEL Videos, Animations, Charts, Quiz, etc) to be used.
  6. Academic audit team, auditing procedures and corrective actions.
  7. Enhancement activities to be carried out in the departments, library, etc.
  8. MOUs with Indian and Abroad Universities and industries.
  9. Documentation of various programmes/activities.
  10. Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to be submitted to NAAC.

Minutes of Meeting

IQAC meeting was conducted on 25.03.2019 at 03.30 p.m. at Placement and Training Cell. The points listed in the agenda of the meeting were discussed among the members of the IQAC and the following minutes were arrived.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

  1. The Admission Committee is requested to review the admission policies to increase the first year admission to a minimum of 75% of the total intake.
  2. The Heads of the departments are requested to submit the academic calendar of their department for the academic year 2019-20 immediately after one week from the receipt of Anna University Year Plan to the Principal.
  3. Consolidated academic calendar for the college with schedule of activities and celebrations will be prepared by the Coordinator, IQAC after the receipt of the individual department’s calendar.
  4. Overall pass percentage target to the departments shall be 80%, that is 10% higher than the target fixed for the previous year results.
  5. The following are the targets to be achieved by the departments for various academic activities:

7. At least one modern methods of teaching and learning tools such as Models, Prototypes, NPTEL Videos, Animations, Charts, Quiz to be used per subject.

8. Academic audit team, audit format, auditing procedures, frequency of audit and corrective actions will be decided by the Principal before the day of reopening.

9. Enhancement activities such as purchase, service and maintenance activities will be carried out by the Heads of the Department, Librarian and Administrative Personal.

10. At least one MOU with Indian/Abroad Universities/Industries should be obtained per department.

11. Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) of the department for the past and forthcoming years will be prepared by the NAAC coordinators of each department and submitted to the Coordinator, IQAC before 15.05.2019.

12. Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) for the academic years 2017-18 and 2018-19 to be submitted to NAAC will be prepared by the Coordinator, IQAC and submitted to the Principal before 15.06.2019.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
