Event Highlights

The 17th Graduation Day was organized at C.Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering & Technology, Melvisharam on 6th April 2019 at 10:00 am in the auditorium.  The Chairman Dr. S. Ziauddeen Ahmed presided over the function in the presence of Mr. Sowcar Nisar Ahmed, President of M.M.E.S. (Melvisharam Muslim Educational Society) and Dr. V.M. Abdul Latheef, the Correspondent of the college.

Dr. M.K.SURAPPA, Vice-chancellor, Anna University, Chennai was the Chief Guest and he delivered the Graduation Day Address. During his speech, he appreciated the efforts put-forth by the management, parents and also by the students which has made the aspirations of the graduates become a reality today.  He advised the graduates to be honest, sincere in their profession since moral and ethical values are very important; to be a good human being and give the best to the society; to expand their knowledge in other fields also, apart from their chosen field, to work more efficiently; to improve their skills according to the changing scenario of the world to become completely digital;  to help improve  the agricultural productivity, in terms of smart agriculture, since less land is available for the said purpose. He stated that the process of learning does not end by getting a job, but it continues throughout the life to abreast ourselves  since the technology is changing in a rapid manner.  He encouraged the graduates to become entrepreneurs and to give jobs to their colleagues as there are plenty of opportunities now to become entrepreneurs. He wished all the best for the young graduates.

The members of the College Committee Mr. S.Z. Ifthikhar Ahmed, Mr. M. Mohamed Sherfuddin, Mr. K. Anees Ahmed, Mr. A. Iqbal Ahmed and Mr. C.M. Zafrullah graced this occasion.

The following 22 (Twenty Two) students of 2018 Batch have secured Anna University Ranks. UG student Mohammed Sufiyan of Mechanical Engineering secured 27th Rank. PG Students Mahalakshmi V of Computer Science and Engineering secured 39th Rank, Thanuja V M of MBA Department secured 32nd Rank, Keerthana D secured 47th Rank, Durgalakshmi R of MCA Department secured 3rd Rank, Marzuka Arifa T secured 7th Rank, Sindhupriya J secured 18th Rank, Sultana A R secured 21st Rank, Anubama T, Srimathi D M and Yuvarani C secured 26th Rank. Preethi M secured 29th Rank, Eithalakshmi D secured 33rd Rank, Lokeshwari A J and Hemalatha A secured 38th Rank, Hemalatha K R secured 42nd Rank. Akshara U and Deepika D secured 43rd Rank, Roshini S secured 46th Rank, Padmashree R secured 47th Rank, Dhachayini S and Abinaya N secured 50th Rank. These students were awarded with Medals and Mementos. Totally 568 students received the degree certificates during this occasion.

All the arrangements for this event were made by Dr. A. Rajesh, Principal and the Heads of the departments of the college.
