



The Department of Science and Humanities of C. Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering and Technology, Melvisharam, successfully organized a National Level Technical Symposium titled “ERUDITION–26” on 11th April 2026. The primary objective of the symposium was to provide a platform for students to showcase their knowledge, technical skills, and innovative ideas in various disciplines such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from first-year B.E. and B.Tech students from different institutions. The program commenced with a formal inaugural session in the presence of distinguished academicians and faculty members. The invited speakers for the symposium were Dr. P. Narasimman, Assistant Professor, PG Department of Mathematics, Government Arts and Science College, Tirupattur; Dr. S. Murugavel, Professor and Head, Department of Physics, TPGIT, Vellore; Dr. N. Kalaivasan, Professor and Head, Department of Chemistry, TPGIT, Vellore; and Dr. G. Christopher, Assistant Professor (Senior Grade), School of Social Science and Languages, VIT, Vellore. Their valuable insights and motivational words inspired the participants.
The symposium featured paper presentation sessions under the following themes:
• Mathematics and its Applications
• Recent Trends in Physics
• Role of Chemistry in Engineering Applications
• English Communication Skills for Future Engineers
Participants presented their papers with great enthusiasm, demonstrating creativity, analytical thinking, and communication skills. The sessions were evaluated by expert judges, and the best presenters were awarded prizes. The event also encouraged teamwork, as participants were allowed to present in teams of two. All submissions followed the prescribed guidelines, ensuring academic quality and professionalism. ERUDITION–26 proved to be a grand success, fostering knowledge sharing, innovation, and academic excellence among students. The event concluded with a valedictory session, prize distribution, and a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the management, principal, faculty members, organizers, and participants for their support and contribution.
