The civil engineering students visited the poondi lake water treatment plant on 10.09.2025 as part of their academic curriculum. The visit was organized to provide students with practical exposure to large water treatment processes and infrastructure. During the visit, students observed various stages of water treatment, including Sedimentation, filtration, disinfection and distribution system. The experience enriched their understanding of the theoretical concepts covered in class and highlighted the importance of civil engineering water treatment analysis.
