REPORT ON RAMANUJAN CLUB INAUGURATION

The Department of Science and Humanities of C. Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering & Technology successfully organized the Inauguration of the Ramanujan Club on 04th September 2025 at the EEE Seminar Hall.
The program commenced with a soulful Qirath (Prayer) by H. Mohammed Ismail (IT), followed by a melodious Tamil Devotional Song by Shanthini & Team.
Saniya Falak (AI&ML) delivered the Welcome Address, warmly greeting the dignitaries, faculty, and students.
The highlight of the event was a special talk by Dr.B.V.Senthil Kumar, Head of Department on the topic ” Ramanujan Contributions in Mathematics”.
Our esteemed Principal, Dr. M. Sasikumar, delivered the Inaugural Address, emphasizing the importance of mathematical thinking and encouraging students to engage in innovative learning.
The Vice Principal Dr. Mohammed Muzaffer Hussain emphasized that the Math Club was not merely a forum for solving problems but also a platform to foster analytical skills, logical reasoning, and innovative approaches among students.
Following this, T. Mohammed Tanveer presented an inspiring biography of Ramanujan, and Kriruthika (CSE) outlined the Vision and Mission of the Ramanujan Club.
Student Activities: Quiz & Fun Games
As part of the inauguration, technical events, a mathematics quiz, and fun games were organized by K.H. Muddassir (AI&DS), Mohammed Sufyaan (IT), and Sherin Taj (AI&DS).
Mathematics Quiz:
The quiz included three interactive rounds — Rapid Fire, Logical Puzzles, and Problem-Solving Challenges. Students demonstrated excellent teamwork, quick thinking, and mathematical skills, making the competition both educational and entertaining
Fun Games:
Alongside the quiz, exciting games such as Math Riddles, Sudoku Challenges, and a Treasure Hunt with Numbers were conducted. Students participated enthusiastically, making the session lively and enjoyable
Outcome of the Event:
The event provided an excellent platform for students to learn, compete, and have fun while strengthening their mathematical knowledge.
