The III year Civil Engineering Students visited CSIR,SERC (Structural Engineering Research Center), Taramani, Chennai on 02-08-2018. SERC is a National Research Laboratory with more than 6 Labs, Conducting research work in various Civil Engineering fields. The visit has given vital knowledge for the students about the Advanced Technologies in Civil Engineering and the hitech equipments used for conducting tests on various materials (like soil, concrete, steel etc..) students have also gained knowledge on the current research in Civil Engineering field.
