The Department of Information Technology, under the Research and Innovation Cell of C. Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering and Technology (CAHCET), Melvisharam, organized the “Deep-Tech Innovation Challenge” as part of the R & D Cell – Idea Café Activity on 7 August 2026 at 9:30 AM in the IT Smart Room. The event was aimed at fostering creativity, research, innovation, and problem-solving skills among students by encouraging them to explore emerging technologies and develop innovative solutions to real-world challenges. The programme was graced by Mr. Y. Irshad Ahmed, MBA, CEO/MIIC, MMES Incubation & Innovation Council, CAHCET, and Dr. R. Z. Inamul Hussain, Associate Professor, Department of CSE, CAHCET, as the Chief Guests. The event was conducted with the guidance and support of the college management, the Department of IT, and the Research and Innovation Cell, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to promoting a strong culture of innovation, research, and technological entrepreneurship among students.
