The Department of Civil Engineering organized an industrial visit to UltraTech Cement Industry, Arakkonam on 07th February 2026 for the students to gain practical exposure to cement manufacturing processes.
During the visit, the students were guided by industry experts who explained the raw material processing, clinker production, cement grinding, and packing operations. The students also learned about quality control procedures, laboratory testing of cement, and safety measures followed in the plant.
