Advances in Mechanical Engineering Design
The Department of Mechanical Engineering conducted a one-day seminar on “Advances in Mechanical Engineering Design” on 04.10.2024, with Mr. Joshua I, Managing Director of GSHEPH Technology, Vellore, as the chief guest, providing insights into mechanical modeling and analysis software and fundamental dynamics concepts like force, momentum, work-energy principles, impulse-momentum principles, and the coefficient of restitution.
RIDE 2024 “SkySculptors
Seven third-year Mechanical Engineering students from our institution, competing as “RIDE 2024 SkySculptors,” participated in the National Level Mini–Bike Design, Fabrication, and Racing Contest held on 04.10.2024 at Karpagam College of Engineering, Coimbatore, where they showcased their skills by designing and fabricating a mini-bike, ultimately securing an impressive 12th place out of 39 teams.
