ABOUT MCA DEPARTMENT
MCA is a postgraduate program that established in the year 2008 with a sanctioned intake of 60 students and focuses on various aspects of computer applications and software development. It covers subjects such as programming languages, database management, software engineering, web development, networking, and computer architecture. MCA graduates are equipped with the skills necessary to pursue careers in software development, systems analysis, database administration, and IT management.
The department is provided with a well-equipped laboratories Essential software’s and computer terminals as per the curriculum of Anna University are available in the department.The faculty members have regularly participated in various FDPs (like NITTTR), workshops, seminars, conferences and other training programmes sponsored by AICTE, MHRD etc. They have also presented many research papers in various conferences and journals. The department has been producing good results and produced 55 Anna University Rank holders till todate.

in the appropriate bachelor program.
