The Department of Information Technology, officially inaugurated the state-of-the-art K7 Computing Center of Excellence on September 21, 2026, at Lab 5, Tech Tower. The landmark event was formally inaugurated by Janab Mr. V. Mohamed Rizwanullah, Correspondent of CAHCET, alongside the Guest of Honour, Mr. Christopher Franklin, Head of K7 Academy. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Chairman Janab Dr. S. Ziauddeen Ahmed, Principal Dr. M. Sasi Kumar, Vice Principal Dr. A. Mohamed Muzaffar Hussain, Head of the IT Department Dr. S. Umamaheswari, and Placement Officer Mr. I. Abdullah. Following this monumental launch, the department has scheduled an intensive, hands-on 20-day Cyber Security Training program in collaboration with K7 Academy. This comprehensive follow-up initiative will take place at the newly minted facility, offering students specialized technical modules to master modern network defense strategies, real-world threat detection, and advanced endpoint security architectures to confidently build a better tomorrow.
