Our Department of Information Technology has conducted a five days <\/span>Faculty development programme titled on \u201cData analysis using R and Matlab <\/span>Tools\u201d, on 30 th\u00a0 April \u2013 4 th\u00a0\u00a0 May 2019, in association with Computer society of <\/span>India(CSI) sucessfully. The FDP programme received an overwhelming response <\/span>with around 40 participants from various engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=\\”1\/2\\”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n The programme was inaugurated in the morning by Dr.C.Parthasarathy,<\/span>Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Application, <\/span>SCSVMV University, in the presence of principal Dr. A. Rajesh, Ph.D., Head of <\/span>the Department Dr. S. Umamaheswari, Ph,D., Coordinator Mrs. K. <\/span>Malini,M.E., Organizer Mrs. N.Naveena Begum, M.E. The inauguration was <\/span>followed by the felicitation of Chief Guest by our Principal Dr. A. Rajesh. <\/span>Followed by the felicitation the expert lecture was delivered by <\/span>Dr.C.Parthasarathy, on the topic of \u201cIntroduction to R-Tools\u201d in the forenoon of <\/span>30\/04\/19.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=\\”1\/2\\”][vc_single_image image=\\”5164\\” img_size=\\”medium\\”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=\\”1\/2\\”][vc_single_image image=\\”5172\\” img_size=\\”medium\\”][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=\\”1\/2\\”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n The lectures titled on R Programming and R-Tools was taken <\/span>in the Afternoon of 30\/04\/19. This was followed by hands-on training of Data <\/span>analysis using R on 01\/05\/19 and 02\/05\/19 by Dr.N.R.Ananthanarayanan, <\/span>Associate Professor, SCSVMV University. A Guest Lecture titled on <\/span>\u201cIntroduction to MatLab\u201cwas delivered by Dr.Konda Srinivasa Rao, Professor and <\/span>HOD on 03\/05\/19.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=\\”1\/2\\”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n The FDP was concluded with a session on Matlab using R-programming delivered by Dr.C.Parthasarathy, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Department of Master in Computer application, SCSVMV University.
