A Guest Lecture was organized by the Dept. of Mathematics on \u201cApplication of Engineering Mathematics\u201d on 8th April, 2019 at our institution. Dr. L. Francis Raj, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, Voorhees College, Vellore was the Resource Person.<\/p>\n
He discussed on the areas such as the Applications of Matrices, Laplace Transforms, Calculus, Complex integration etc. He emphasized the importance of applications of Mathematics in engineering field by using the powerpoint presentation.<\/p>\n
He advised \u00a0that the engineering students should be strong in the basics of \u00a0Mathematics. This programme boosted the confidence level of students in Mathematics and the students interacted with the guest \u00a0\u00a0enthusiastically.<\/p>\n
