National Service Scheme Unit of C. Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering and Technology organized \u201c7 Day Special Camping Programme\u201d at Kilvisharam from 01.03.2019 to 07.03.2019. The inaugural function was held on Friday 01.03.2019 in Government (Hindu) Higher Secondary School, Kilvisharam. Dr. S. Ziauddin Ahmed, Chairman and Dr. V.M. Abdul Latheef, Correspondent and Dr. A. Rajesh, Principal CAHCET presided over the function. Dr. V. Pushparaj, NSS Programme Officer delivered the Welcome address.<\/p>\n
Dr. S.A. Sajid, Ph.D., Principal, C. Abdul Hakeem College of Arts and Science, Melvisharam was the chief guest and insisted the NSS volunteers that through NSS they can help public in all aspects. He also advised the gathering to teach uneducated people and to create awareness about cleanliness by means of street play and drama. The Student Volunteers actively participated in cleaning various places like School Campus and its surroundings, temple premises, water tap, drainage and created the awareness of cleanliness among the public in the Kilvisharam, as well.<\/p>\n
The guest speakers were invited on every evening to encourage the NSS Student Volunteers on various topics. Dr. L. Rajasekaran, Ph.D. Assistant Professor, Arignar Anna Government Arts College, Cheiyyar delivered a speech on \u201cArinthathum and Ariyathathum\u201d. Dr. S. Sheik Faritha Begum, Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering conveyed a speech on \u201cComputer and its Applications\u201d. Mr. T. Boopalan, M.A., B.Ed., DAV (CBSE) BHEL, Ranipet delivered a talk on \u201cConfident and Self Improvement\u201d. Dr. D. Rajachandrasekaran, M.B.B.S., D.C.H., delivered a speech on \u201cChange of Life Style\u201d. Dr. M. Thamim Mansoor, M.A., Ph.D., conveyed the message about \u201cThooramillai Vetri\u201d. Mr. S. Shankar Ganesh, M.A., B.Ed., M.S., Superintending Officer, National Statistical Organisation, Government of India, Vellore Division delivered a speech on \u201cInteraction of Career Guidance\u201d.<\/p>\n
The valedictory function was held on 07.03.2019. The people of Kilvisharam participated in the function and given the feedback about the Special Camping Programme. Mr. N. Elangovan, M.Sc., M.Ed., M.Phil., Headmaster, Government (Hindu) Higher Secondary School, Kilvisharam was the chief guest and delivered the valedictory address. The arrangements of the Special Camping Programme were made by Dr. A. Rajesh, Ph.D., Principal, Dr. V. Pushparaj, NSS Programme Officer and Mr. P. Venkatesan, Assistant Professor. Finally, Dr. V. Pushparaj, NSS Programme Officer delivered the vote of thanks.<\/p>\n
