A Symposium on \u201cOne Day Inter-College Environmental Symposium\u201d (<\/span>Environ-2019<\/b>)\u201d was organized by the Department of Science and Humanities on <\/span>16.03.2019<\/b> at C. Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering and Technology. Dr. S. Ziauddeen Ahmed, Chairman, presided over the function and was inaugurated by Dr. V.M. Abdul Latheef, Correspondent. Dr. S. Babu Prabu Dhass, Director, Focus Edu Care Academy, Ambur, Vellore was the chief guest and he delivered the special address. Professor Dr. Z. Abdul Vaheith, HOD\/S&H, Science and Humanities department, delivered the Inaugural speech.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n During his speech, the Chief Guest explained about the human rights, population explosion and its effects, child and women welfare,and causes of AIDS. Students from various institutions presented their papers on <\/span>\u201cRecent Impacts of Environmental Changes and Impacts of Population Growth in Environment issues\u201d.<\/b> Dr. N. Kalaivasan, Associate Professor in Chemistry, from Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology (TPGIT), Vellore act as chair person for the oral presentation. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Prizes were awarded to Best Papers exhibited, as the next level of the event.besides, the vote of thanks was given by the Convener Mr. S. Sudarsan, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry. All the arrangements for this programme had been made by Dr. A. Rajesh, Principal, Dr. Z. Abdul Vaheith, Head of Science and Humanities department of this programme, Co-ordinator Dr. R. Thangaraj, Mrs. S. Renugadevi, Mr. L. Elangovan and Mr. E.
