They developed a product for monitoring the Air Pollution with warning and management system which was under the theme of IMPORT SUBSTITUTION. The Air quality parameters such as Carbon dioxide, Carbon monoxide, Methane, Particulate matter and Temperature &amp; Humidity are monitored. The team also designed a cloud application to update the monitored data and warn the pollution control board or the end-users during extreme air pollution to take any precautionary measures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\\\"text-align: justify;\\\"><strong><span style=\\\"color: #000000;\\\">ABOUT Smart India HACKATHON:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\\\"text-align: justify;\\\"><span style=\\\"color: #000000;\\\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Smart India Hackathon is a non-stop digital product development competition. The Ministry of\u00a0 HRD along with AICTE, Persistent Systems, i4C and IIT Kharagpur to host the Grand Finale of Smart India Hackathon 2018 \u2013 Hardware edition from Jun 18-22, 2018. This was disclosed by the Union Minister for Human Resource Development, Shri Prakash Javadekar. Smart India Hackathon 2018 is in line with the \u2018Make in India\u2019 initiative of the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and is proving to be an important vehicle for scouting new ideas and help them convert them into products and businesses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\\\"text-align: justify;\\\"><span style=\\\"color: #000000;\\\">In Smart India Hackathon-Hardware edition, 4362 team ideas were received with participation from 50000+ students across 752+ technical institutions. After two internal rounds of evaluations with support from industry experts, 106 teams have been shortlisted to compete under the 10 themes in the SIH2018 Hardware edition Grand Finale.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\\\"text-align: justify;\\\"><span style=\\\"color: #000000;\\\">The journey has just began.
