The One Day Internal Hackathon<\/strong> for Smart India Hackathon 2024<\/strong> was organized to foster innovation and identify creative solutions for real-world challenges. A total of 72 teams<\/strong> from various departments participated, showcasing their technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork. Problem statements attempted by all the teams is about 47.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These problem statements ranged across various fields such as software development, machine learning, hardware-based solutions, and automation, reflecting the diverse challenges that society and industry face today. The issues presented covered areas such as healthcare, sustainability, manufacturing, agriculture, education, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hackathon aimed to encourage students to think critically and develop practical solutions using modern technology and innovation. The event acted as a preparatory ground for the Smart India Hackathon 2024<\/strong>, which is a prestigious national competition initiated by the Government of India to solve industry and societal problems through student-driven innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Out of the 72 participating teams, 50 (45 shortlisted and 5 waitlisted) were selected<\/strong> based on the originality of their ideas, the feasibility of the proposed solutions, and their alignment with the real-world needs of industries or societal concerns. These selected teams will proceed to represent the college in the further stages of the Smart India Hackathon 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event also provided students with valuable feedback from the judges and the faculty coordinators, helping them refine their projects and improve their chances of success in the national-level competition. The hackathon was not only a competitive platform but also an opportunity for students to engage in collaborative learning, network with peers, and receive mentorship from experienced professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
