STUDENT GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL (SGRC)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In order to comply with the AICTE (Redressal of Grievance of Students) Regulations, 2019 vide F. No. 1-101\/PGRC\/AICTE\/  Regulation\/2019 dated 07.11.2019 for addressing students\u2019 grievances, a “Student Grievance Redressal Cell”<\/strong> has been constituted in C. Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering and Technology, Melvisharam \u2013 632 509. The term of office of Grievance Redressal Cell is of two years (2024-2026).<\/p>\n

 Objectives: <\/strong>
To provide a support system for the students to express their grievances regarding academic and non-academic activities. To initiate proactive measures to redress the grievances of the students. To examine and scrutinize the complaints and representations of aggrieved students and to take up these matters with the appropriate authorities for redressal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Grievance Redressal Mechanism<\/strong><\/h5>\n<\/div>\n

Principal and the Heads of the Departments are provided with responsibility of academics. They are responsible for monitoring the conduct of class, performance of the students, teaching & learning process, budgeting, procurement and maintenance of the laboratories and equipments. To conduct the teaching & learning process, there is internal quality control auditing committee which continuously monitors the development of the students.<\/p>\n

In addition, Discipline and Anti-raging Cell, are established according to the regulations of the UGC.  The Cell\u2019s responsibility is to ensure that students maintain discipline in the class rooms and within the college campus.  Members of the cell regularly go on rounds to each and every classroom to make note of errant behaviour and to make sure that the college campus is free from ragging and eve-teasing. The cell takes severe punitive action against students indulging in such heinous activities.<\/p>\n

Grievance Redressal Cell:<\/strong> The Grievance Cell for students and staff is established and coordinated by conducting awareness programmes for girls and solving problems from time to time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
